Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 18, a fire alarm was set off at the Miller junior-senior high school area.

According to Miller fire chief, Steve Resel, a masonry saw was being used at the elementary construction site, and a combination of exhaust and dust set off the alarm.

Resel said the evacuation was orderly and was completed quickly. He commended students and staff and the school administration, and also the fire department for their quick response.
