Sustainable Ag Conference coming to Aberdeen

Organized by Northern Plains Sustainable Agriculture Society (NPSAS), the annual Winter Conference is an extraordinary, farmer-center, local foods event featuring more than 50 exhibitors and 30 informative workshops. Pre-conference workshops will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24 centering on livestock health, seed production and farm transition/estate planning.

This educational and networking conference attracts over 500 sustainable and organic farmer/ranchers, local foodies and agriculture professionals.

Two keynote speakers will be featured—Matt Dillon, Seed Matters, and Dr. Richard Olree, Emineral. In addition, conference workshops will cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited, to livestock production, organic weed control, organic cover crops, soil health in organic production, fruit production, marketing produce and fruits, composting, fermentation, local food production/systems, plus much more.
