The Miller Rustler football team hosted the Herried-Selby Area Wolverines on a chilly Friday night, Oct. 5. The Rustlers fell 58-22 to the high-powered Wolverines.
The Rustlers gained 144 yard rushing led by Kris Wharton with seven attempts for 68 yards. Devon Gnat had seven attempts for 68 yards with a last-second touchdown. Lee Sivertsen added 11 rushes for 38 yards and a touchdown. Lee Sivertsen was 7-15 passing for 68 yards and Devon Gnat was 2-2 for nine yards. Wyatt Strasburg had two receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown. Kris Wharton added two receptions for 20 yards.
Defensively the Rustlers were led by Blaze McMurtry and Wyatt Strasburg, with six tackles each.
The Wolverines were led offensively by Cooper Shaeffbauer with 12 attempts for 169 yards. Nick Larson was 7-9 passing for 112 yards.
