The Miller Rustler football team traveled to White Lake Friday, Sept. 7 to take on the Kimball-White Lake WildKats, suffering a 39-6 loss.
The Rustler offense struggled to gain momentum against the strong WildKat defense only gaining a total of 98 yards of rushing and 39 yards of passing.
The lone touchdown for the Rustlers was a 31-yard touchdown pass from Wyatt Strasburg to Lee Sivertsen in the second quarter. The WildKats scored at least a touchdown in all four quarters.
Offensive leaders for the Rustlers are Wyatt Strasburg who went 1-2 passing for 31 yards and a touchdown. Lee Sivertsen went one for 10 passing for eight yards. Leading the way receiving was Lee Sivertsen with a 31-yard touchdown catch. Defensive leaders for the Rustlers were Wyatt Strasburg with 10 tackles, Lee Sivertsen with 8.5 tackles and Sam Simons with 7.5 tackles. Josh McEwen and Jeremy Coss each had a fumble recovery.
