Rustler junior high girls play Sully Buttes, St. Joe’s Indian School

The Miller Rustlers junior high girls were in action on December 11 against Sully Buttes in a combined seventh and eighth grade home game, and December 13th in two games against St. Josephs Indian School, also at home.

The Rustlers fell to Sully Buttes by a score of 43-32. Kalli Ruhnke led the Rustlers with 15 points and five steals. Teanna Pawlowski netted six points. Shaly Werdel added five points. Karly Beckett added four points and four rebounds, with Annie Keeter adding two points and three rebounds.

The seventh graders captured the victory over St. Joe’s by a score of 23-14. Leading the way for the Rustlers was Karly Beckett with 15 points, six rebounds and four steals. Teanna Pawlowski netted four points with four rebounds. Bobbi Alverson added three points with a team leading nine rebounds. Kassi Schaefers added a free throw for her lone point.

In the eighth grade contest, the Rustlers suffered the 39-15 loss. Leading the Rustlers was Shaly Werdel with seven points, four rebounds and three steals. Allison Grogan added four points and three rebounds. Chloe Miner netted three points, with Jennifer Kenaston netting a free throw point. Paige Kilker added three rebounds for the Rustlers.
