Residents attend Hyde County Farm & Home Show

The weather this past week has been cold, snowy and windy, and then warming. There was no school Monday because of Presidents’ Day and no school Tuesday because of the snow and cold. By Saturday and Sunday the temperature had warmed up to start to melt some of the snow.

We sang along to several songs. Then, suddenly, the music outside stopped.  “Oh, I get it,” our six-yea-old grandson blurted out. “This must be Silent Night.”
