Two new members were welcomed this week.

1^st – 4^th Grade

This week’s Bible lesson was about Moses and the Ten Commandments. The Bible passage was found in Deuteronomy 5:1-6:9. The message was obey God’s Word. The Bible memory verse was Psalm 119:34—“Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.” A fun game of pom-pom-pull-away was played. Members worked on worksheets and discussed operation Christmas child.

5-6^th Girls

Jonah was the main Bible character this week. Members read from the book of Jonah. Bible memory verses were Psalm 23: 1-3. Members discussed tolerance and how it can be both helpful and hurtful. Members learned why they should care and to take responsibility for their choices. New songs were explored in music time.

5-6^th Boys

The Bible truth was young people can make a difference. Members made a list of jobs found in the Bible (Acts 6:1-4). Different ways to serve in the church, community, neighborhood and school were discussed. The Bible passage was found in Philippians 2:3-4. This week’s Bible verse was 1 John 3-16-17.
