People enjoy warm November weather

The weather this past week was pretty nice for this time of year. We have had temperatures into the 50s for several of the days and some wind. We did have some snow and ice Saturday night, Nov. 10, which made the roads and everything icy for most of the day Sunday. Monday and Tuesday, the snow had melted.

Delton and Carole Beck visited at the Jeff and Margie Parmely home in Miller on Wednesday evening.

Delton and Carole Beck went to Huron Wednesday, where Carole had a doctor’s appointment.

Delton and Carole Beck attended the prayer service for Allen Kellogg on Thursday evening.

The weather is very nice today (Saturday) for the beginning of deer hunting season. The report is that there are some pretty nice looking deer out there.  I have heard many shots, and have heard that some have already gotten their deer—some pretty nice ones.

A three-year-old little boy, Billy, wore his new Mickey Mouse watch to the doctor’s office to get his flu shot. The nurse admired his watch and asked him what time it was. Trying to avoid the shot, Billy replied, “It’s time to leave!”
