Outlaws can’t hang on against Rattlers

Outlaws built an early edge on Tuesday, but Pierre Rattlers roared back to steal a 15-3 victory at JC Terry Complex.

Pierre Rattlers took the lead in the fourth inning on a two-run single by Jordan LaBrie.

Josh Koeck racked up three RBIs on two hits for Outlaws. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Pierre Rattlers’ LaBrie, Tyson Lindenkuegel, Allen Goodman and John Richter combined for 10 hits and nine RBIs.

The top of the second saw Pierre Rattlers take an early lead, 1-0. A solo blast by Lindenkuegel started the inning off.

It didn’t take long for Outlaws to answer as it scored three runs of its own in the second. Outlaws scored on a three-run double by Koeck.

The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Pierre Rattlers scored five runs on a sacrifice fly by Harry Decker and two singles.

Pierre Rattlers added three more runs in the top of the fifth. A single by Richter ignited the offense,, plating Lindenkuegel. That was followed up with a steal of home by Goodman.
