Danielle Sosin, author of “The Long-Shining Waters,” is now on her 2013 One Book South Dakota Author Tour. She will be in Miller Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Hand County Library. The public is invited, and 20 copies of “The Long-Shining Waters” will be given away.
Sosin will discuss various themes related to the 2013 One Book South Dakota, “The Long-Shining Waters.” She will also answer readers’ questions and sign books.
In “The Long-Shining Waters,” Sosin weaves an intricate tale revolving around Lake Superior. The novel provides numerous opportunities for discussion of the 2013 SDHC programming theme of water, along with many other issues.
Sosin, a Duluth, Minn. resident and past Festival of Books presenter, will travel to one region of South Dakota each month, beginning in June and culminating in her keynote appearance at the 2013 Festival of Books (www.sdbookfestival.com) in Deadwood, Sept. 20-22.
