Not my little girl, Not in my town. We are safe here.

I have thought these things myself, but recent events have changed all of that. My family was having a nice supper last Sunday. My youngest daughter comments to my oldest daughter, I see that creeper guy tried to get you as a Facebook friend, too. My husband and I perk right up to listen to their conversation. To make a long story short it seems we have an individual who is “stocking” the women of Miller and surrounding areas on Facebook. He has approximately 175 “friends” and all are women. But no one knows who he is or what he looks like. Most added him because he was FB friends with their friends, so we must know him. He’s from Miller. He’s a good guy. No bad guys live in Miller.

After reading a few of the messages he has left for some of the girls in Miller, I am convinced he is here and is seeing our young girls daily. He knows routines, mode of travel, destinations etc.

This makes me very concerned! Yes, this involves two of my own children, but also their friends and my friends’ children. As we start a new school year, our children will be traveling to other areas for sports and extra curricular activities, I have never felt more concern than I do this year.

I have contacted some old and dear friends, Rich and Beret Ohm. The Ohms teach a program called “Fight like a Girl”. A “fight like a girl” event will be held in Watertown on Wednesday, August 14 at 6:30 pm at the event center and BOTH my girls are going. If anyone would like a ride or information, call me 853-3575. IT’S FREE.

I will not be taking any chances.
