Mutchelknaus involved in car acccident

Emergency personnel responded to this two-vehicle accident late Tuesday afternoon on the Virgil Road 1 mile west of U.S. Highway 37.

A spokesman with the South Dakota Highway Patrol said there were injuries reported, but the accident remains under investigation.

An effort is under way to support the family of Bo Mutchelknaus with “Bows for Bo”.

“Bows for Bo” are available at Fair City Foods in Huron. When people make a donation, they can write their name on a yellow and black placard featuring a bow, which are on display in the store.

The placards are available at the checkout counters and the pharmacy.

All proceeds will go to the Mutchelknaus family.

The community is showing their support with ribbon of yellow, black, and even some with footballs. You can see community support all over town and on Facebook.

“Bows for Bo” is a group created by students past and present of Wolsey-Wessington. People from all over the county have been posting pictures of the bows they created for Mutchelknaus.
