MILLER HIGH STUDENTS Shelby Lingscheit and Cassie Beckett participated in the Senior Division of the Talent Show held in Highmore on December 2. They choreographed a Lyrical dance to the song “Home.” They won at Highmore, advanced them on to the State Talent Competition held in Aberdeen on Saturday, Jan. 5. After the preliminary contest, they were placed in the top five in the state. They then performed at the State Junior Snow Queen Festival, also held in Aberdeen. Both girls dance at the “For the Love of Dance” Dance Studio in Miller, under the direction of Lacey Beckett. Cassie is the daughter of Todd and DeAnn Beckett of Miller, and Shelby is the daughter of John and Sharen Lingscheit of Ree Heights.
