Miller Rustlers fall to Sully Buttes Chargers

Miller hosted Sully Buttes last Thursday, Oct. 24. The Rustlers fell to the Chargers 12-44. This is the last game for the 2013 regular season for the Rustlers leaving them with a 1-7 record for the season.

Leading defense for the Rustlers was Brendan Letsche with six tackles, followed closely behind was Tre Blasdell and Jeremy Coss each having five and a half. Coss also completed one sack.

Miller Rustlers ended the season with a chilly Thursday night game. The Rustlers lost to Sully Buttes 12-44.

Devon Gnat completed 10 attempts in rushing, with a total of 101 yards. Gnat also had 5/23 completed passes with one interception, with a total of nine yards. Cody Naber received three catches with a total of seven yards.

Gnat completed the Rustlers first touchdown on a 60-yard run. Jaren Wharton completed the second touchdown during the middle of the fourth quarter. Wharton retrieved the kickoff for a 90 yard run. This was the second special teams touchdown for the year.

For the Rustlers, they attained five first downs, 25 rushing attempts, 137 rushing yards, 5-29 passing statistics and nine passing yards. Miller also had zero fumbles/lost.
