Miller elementary students perform well at vocal contest

Fifty-three Miller elementary students from fifth and sixth grade participated in the annual vocal contest at Wessington Springs April 5. The swing choir, large group, girls’ group and two solos received superior plus ratings. The boys’ group and 24 solos received superior ratings. There were also five excellent solos.

Chaperones were Tyann Jones and Sandy Sivertsen. Accompanists were Virginia Burgher and Kari Simons.
