Junior high girls fall in home openers

The seventh and eighth grade girls’ basketball teams each fell in their home openers against the Chamberlain Cubs on Thursday night.

The seventh grade team fell to the Cubs by a score of 25-12. Bobbi Alverson and Annie Keeter led the Rustlers with four points each. Teanna Pawlowski and Karly Beckett each added two points.

In the eighth grade match-up, the Rustlers fell by a score of 31-21. The Rustlers were led by Kallie Ruhnke with 11 points. Allison Grogan, Shaly Werdel, Jennifer Kenniston, Maycee Mohr and Chloe Minor each added two points.
