Even a snow storm could not dampen enthusiasm as people lined up along the main street of Wessington to welcome Santa Claus to town during the first annual Parade of Lights, last Saturday evening. Nineteen parade entrants braved the wet snow to put on quite a show, which even included a few fireworks. Wessington Economic Development Corporation awarded $25 in Wessington Bucks for the best float in three categories. ABOVE: The winner in the "Brightest" category, Casavan Honey Apiary and Bee Stylin'.
