WHAT A TREE! Miller Girl Scouts traveled by bus Sunday, Dec. 2 to view the beautiful Christmas trees in the South Dakota Capitol Building. The group thrilled to the sight of the large center tree, which was decorated with Girl Scout items, including decorations made by Miller troops earlier this year. Troops from Dakota Horizon Girl Scout Council decorated the tree in honor of Girl Scouting’s 100th birthday in 2012. The beautiful weather allowed the girls to also visit Capitol Lake to feed hundreds of geese and ducks. The day concluded with cookies and singing on the ride home to Miller.
