Has winter been far too long, and it’s time to really think about spring and gardens? A “Spring Fling” might be just up your alley.
The Dakota Prairie Master Gardeners of the Miller area are planning a “Spring Fling” Saturday, April 6 at the MHS Commons. All gardeners, from the novice to the green-thumb genius, are invited to spend a few hours hearing from plant people.
Registration begins at 9:15 a.m.
Four presenters are on the agenda.
Julie Hoffman from East River Nursery, Huron, will suggest her “Top Picks for Perennials and Flowers.”
Brenda Bode, Mt. Vernon, will talk about theme containers, and will be available for a question and answer period.
Deb Willert, with K & K Greenery of Miller, will give information about succulents and terrariums, as well as other plants.
Cindy Kopecky, Faulkton, will provide garden tips in her presentation, “Keep It Simple.”
There will be break times, lunch will be provided, and the day’s events should be concluded by about 2:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is requested. Call Nora Reimann at 853-0019.
