Wyatt Fulton of Miller was invited to participate in the SDRA High School Fall Showcase Extravaganza, held October 19 in Rapid City.

This is the fourth year that the South Dakota Rodeo Association has showcased the top athletes in High School Rodeo, and the Extravaganza is held in conjunction with the SDRA Rodeo Finals.

The contestants were chosen by the following criteria:

• The top two students from each event in each region are invited.

• Points are from regional rodeos, before state finals.

• Participants are only eligible to compete in one event—the one with the highest number of points.

Fulton, from the River Region, participated in tie-down calf roping, and won the event.

Fulton, 17, is a junior at Miller High School. This coming season he will be competing in his third year of High School Rodeo. He is the son of Paul and Kayleen Fulton.
