Former MHS athletic greats honored

THE 1985 “B” Wrestling Championship Team was also inducted into the MHS Athletic Hall of Fame for their outstanding performance during the season as well as the state finals. Several members of the team were present.

CHARLIE SIZER, left, was inducted into the MHS Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday under the coach category. Gerry Hunter made the presentation. Sizer had a record-breaking 73 consecutive wins for Class A Girls’ Basketball.

THE THIRD ATHLETE honoree was Erica Schroeder Ramsey. She was a decorated athlete in basketball, volleyball, and track.
