Dakota Harmony Chorus to present concert for charity

Dakota Harmony Chorus will give a special performance Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. at the Riverview United Methodist Church, Huron. The church is located at 1640 Simmons Ave. SE.

There are 14 members of the chorus, coming from Miller, Wessington, Huron and Alpena. Choral director is Kevin Waller, who is music director at Sunshine Bible Academy.

The title of the performance is “Good Time Barbershop Variety Show,” and guest performer is Joe Pekas, Dakota State University.

Following the show, Methodist Church Women will also serve a soup and salad supper.

All proceeds will go to the Salvation Army and the Central Plains American Red Cross, which provides aid to residents of central South Dakota.
