Joshua J. Haaland, Miller, SD, pled guilty to possession of alcohol by a minor. He was fined $ 100.00 and $66.00 court costs. License was suspended for 30 days. A five-day jail sentence was suspended on the following conditions: pay fines, costs and any restitution as ordered; obey all laws of state, local and federal governments for three months; county shall have lien against defendant of $25.00 per day for any jail confinement.

Daniel M. Gilkerson, Miller, SD, pled guilty to driving with a suspended license. He was fined $150.00 and court costs of $66.00. A five-day jail sentence was suspended on the following conditions: pay fines, costs and any restitution as ordered; obey all laws of the state, local and federal governments for six months.

Alexandra L. Morseth-Seeman, Miller, SD, pled guilty to possession of alcohol by a minor. She was fined $ 100.00 and $66.00 court costs. License was suspended for 30 days. A five-day jail sentence was suspended on the following conditions: pay fines, costs and any restitution as ordered; obey all laws of state, local and federal governments for six months; county shall have lien against defendant of $25.00 per day for any jail confinement.

Anthoni M. Johnson, Miller, SD, pled guilty to two charges. Nine charges were dismissed. On the charge of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail. On the charge of distribution/possession with intent to distribute, he was fined $1,000.00 and court costs of $104.00, and sentenced to 30 days in jail to run concurrent with first sentence. A sentence of three years in the penitentiary was suspended on the following conditions: obey all laws of state, local and federal governments, if questioned or arrested by law enforcement notify court services officer immediately; reimburse county for court-appointed attorney fees within 90 days; pay fines, costs and any restitution as ordered; not use alcohol, purchase, possess, use or distribute any illegal drugs or substances; not enter any bars or lounges where alcohol is sold, and will not gamble; work at a lawful occupation and support all defendants unless participating in a court-approved educational or training program; at own expense, defendant will successfully complete an approved treatment program for alcohol, drug and/or domestic abuse and/or psychological treatment; report to assigned court service officer and comply with instructions, and report any changes of employment, education, training or residence; will not leave boundaries of South Dakota without permission from court service officer; county shall have a lien against defendant of $25.00 per day for jail confinement.

Trent A. Voges, Huron, SD, was convicted at trial on three charges. A fourth charge was dismissed. On the charge of possession of a controlled substance, he was charged $454.00 for court costs and sentenced to four years in the penitentiary. On the charge of ingesting an intoxicant other than alcohol, he was charged $84.00 in court costs and sentenced to 45 days in jail. On the charge of possession of two ounces of marijuana or less, he was charged $84.00 in court costs and sentenced to 45 days in jail, to run concurrently with the second charge. The defendant was ordered to reimburse the county for court-appointed attorney fees within 90 days.

Raymond Frueh, Jr., Miller, SD, pled guilty to one charge of sexual contact with a child under the age 16. Nine similar charges were dismissed on motion by the prosecutor. He was fined $1,000.00 and court costs of $104.00. A five-year sentence to the penitentiary was suspended on the following conditions: pay fines, costs and any restitution as ordered; reimburse county for court-appointed attorney fees within 90 days; county shall have lien against defendant at $25.00 per day for jail confinement; not use alcohol, purchase, possess, use or distribute any illegal drugs/substances; not enter bars or lounges where alcohol is sold and will not gamble; obey all laws of state, local and federal governments, and if questioned/arrested by law enforcement, immediately inform court services officer; work at lawful occupation and support all dependants, unless participating in court approved educational or training program; at own expense, successfully complete an approved treatment program for psychological treatment; no contact with K.K.; agrees to search and seizure of his person, residence, vehicle and personal effects at any time by the court service officer, without necessity of search warrant; submit to and pay for random blood, breath and/or urine testing, including UJS drug testing, as requested by court service officer; court or CSO may release the defendant’s status as a probationer, nature of the crime and conditions of the probation to others, including an employer; must comply with South Dakota Sexual Offender registration law; must report to assigned CSO as directed, comply with instructions, and report any changes of employment, education, training or residence.
