Driver’s license was revoked for 365 days. Fifty days of a 60-day jail sentence were suspended on the following conditions: attend DUI classes; pay fines and costs as ordered; county shall have lien against defendant at $25.00 per day for jail confinement; obey all state, local and federal laws for 360 days.

Victor Manuel Garcia, Miller, pled guilty to failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance). He was fined $100.00 plus court costs of $40.00 and surcharges of $26.00. His driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.

Victor Manuel Garcia, Miller, also pled guilty to driving under the influence, first offense. He was fined $700.00 plus court costs and surcharges of $179.00, and restitution of $1,339.42. Driver’s license was revoked for 30 days. Tanya Marie Betz, Cleveland, Ohio, pled guilty to four charges. For a seat belt violation, she was fined $25.00. On a charge of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, she was charged court costs and surcharges totaling $66.00. On a charge of driving with a suspended license, she was fined $204.00 and $66.00 in court costs and surcharges. On the charge of possession of two ounces of marijuana or less, she was fined $700.00, and court costs and surcharges of $84.00. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended on the following conditions: pay fines and costs as ordered; county shall have lien against defendant at $25.00 per day for jail confinement; obey all state, local and federal laws for 360 days.

Terrance Tyler Gonzales, Chamberlain, SD, pled guilty to driving under the influence, first offense. He was fined $700.00, plus $179.00 for court costs and surcharges. Driver’s license was revoked for 30 days. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended on the following conditions: participate in the 24/7 program at own expense; reimburse county for court-appointed attorney fees within 90 days; attend DUI classes; county shall have lien against defendant at $25.00 per day for jail confinement; defendant report to assigned Court Services Officer as directed and comply with instructions, and report any changes of employment, education, training or residence; not use alcohol for 30 days; obey all state, local and federal laws for 360 days.

Brett Jim Parmely, Miller, SD, pled guilty to a charge of interference with emergency communications. He was fined $1,000.00 plus $84.00 in court costs and surcharges. A 90-day jail sentence was suspended on the following conditions: reimburse county for court-appointed attorney fees within 90 days; pay fines and costs as ordered; county shall have lien against defendant for $25 per day for jail confinement; successfully complete anger management classes and take medication as prescribed; obey all state, local and federal laws for 360 days.
