    Parkinson Support Group to meet April 10

    The Aberdeen Area Parkinson Support Group, led by Shauna Klipfel, director of Avera St. Luke’s Speech Therapy, will meet from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 10, in Aberdeen at the Avera St. Luke’s Education Center, 709 Sixth Ave.SE.

    Gov. Daugaard extends ‘Capital for a Day’ invitations

    Gov. Dennis Daugaard is extending an invitation to communities across the state to apply to be South Dakota’s Capital for a Day.

    Activities for the day will include a main street walk, business tours around town and a social hour. The Governor will also hold a roundtable lunch for community leaders to meet and discuss the needs of the city.
