Jerry Burns has joined the Wheat Growers’ MZB Marketing Team as a key account specialist. Burns will be working in the southern South Dakota area for MZB and assisting the MZB sales team and growers to maximize their precision ag efforts.

“Jerry brings many years of sales experience to our team,” Brent Wiesenburger, Wheat Growers Precision Ag Manager, said. “We’re excited to have him on the team, working with agronomists on training needs and sales coaching. He’ll also be making farm visits and providing important technical support for our precision farming services.”

Burns will be working with Wheat Growers locations and customers in Carpenter, Chamberlain, Huron, Kimball, Miller, Stickney, Wessington Springs, Willow Lake, Woonsocket and Yale.

Michael Hall has joined the staff at Heartland State Bank in Highmore as a loan officer. Originally from Rapid City, he is a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and South Dakota State University in Brookings. He was employed by Consumer’s Supply Distributing for two years, working as a territory manager for the wholesale feed distribution company. He is married to Rebecca (Knippling, daughter of Allen and Mary Knippling of Miller). She is presently a student at Western Dakota Technical Institute in Rapid City.
