Boomsma, Tobert wed in Huron

Mary Boomsma and Beau Torbert were married November 17, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Huron, S.D., with the Rev. Derek Baum, cousin of the bride, officiating.

Parents of the couple are John and Mareldine Boomsma, Wessington, and Wallace and Debbie Torbert, Phenix City Alabama.

The bride’s attendants were her four brothers, A. John, Terry, Michael and Troy. Flower girl was Callie Boomsma, niece of the bride.

The bride’s personal attendants were Korena Chester and Wendy Alexander.

Wallace Torbert, father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Tucker French and Thomas Wade. Ring bearers were Carter and Jaxon Boomsma, nephews of the bride.

Ushers were Seth and Brendon Boomsma, nephews of the bride. Candle lighters were Jaiden and Austin Boomsma, niece and nephew of the bride. Readers were Kayla and Kylee Boomsma, nieces of the bride.

Wedding music was provided by Megan and Paula Tollefson, cousins of the bride.

A reception followed at the Crossroads in Huron. Hosts were Korena and Terry Chester.

The couple honeymooned at PlayaDelCarmen, Mexico, and are now at home in Tea, S.D.

The bride is client relations manager for University Bank of St. Paul, located in Sioux Falls. The groom is a baseball coach with the Sioux Falls Cyclones.
