The Miller/Highmore-Harrold Bandits placed five wrestlers while placing fifth as a team in the Webster invite. The Bandits scored 89.5 points trailing the host Webster Bearcats, who dominated the tournament scoring an impressive 220.5 points. Stanley County (126.5), Deuel (121), and Clark/Willow Lake (114) were the other teams in the top five.
The Bandits had one champion, Devon Gnat, who was crowned the champion of the 152 lb division. JC Forman, in the 106 lb. division, and Tre Blasdell, in the 182 lb. division, were crowned as runners-up. Paul Waring was crowned as the consolation champion in the 145 lb. division. Jaxson Brueggemann placed fourth in the 138 lb. division. Tristan Ashdown competed for the Bandits in the 138 lb. division finishing with a record of one win, two losses. Austin Aalbers also competed and finished with a record of one win, two losses in the 195 lb. division.
Coaches selected Devon Gnat as the tournament’s outstanding wrestler.
