1, at the Legion Hall. Mary Major conducted the meeting. Prayer was given by Norma DeHaven, followed by flag salute and Preamble . Minutes were read, treasurer’s report given, and newsletter from District 6 President was read.
Forty gifts were sent to State Veterans Home in Hot Springs.

Organization Notes
Paid-up membership is now 105. Virginia Kelsey, Joyce Zerfoss and Helen Moriarity served 30 at the Community Club dinner, in October. The bake sale held at the “hunter’s breakfast” went very well.
Sixty dictionaries have been distributed to 3rd graders in Wolsey-Wessington, Miller Area, Miller Dale Colony and Sunshine Bible schools.
There will be pot-luck supper in honor of our veterans, on Veterans Day, Nov. 11th at 6 PM. Guests are invited. Bingo will be played after the meal.
An exchange of Christmas gifts will be held at the Dec. 6th meeting.
If anyone has a family member who is serving in the military, the Auxiliary would appreciate letting us know their address.
The Legion served home-made ice cream and bars in honor of the Auxiliary’s birthday. Lorraine Kleinsasser won the door prize–a beautiful fall arrangement, made and given by Mary Major.
