The Hand-E-Hands 4-H Club and guests met on January 13, 2013 for their annual holiday party. There was no formal meeting, but Marsha Howard passed out the new county record books and distributed the youth-in-action checks. Marsha also highlighted upcoming events in the newsletter and reminded all the members to thank the sponsors who donated for the youth-in-action awards.
Mike Moncur, representing the Hand County 4-H Leaders Association, told members about the new lunch stand and restroom building at the 4-H grounds. He also discussed the fundraising efforts that have been made so far as well, as the large fundraiser that will be kicking off at the Farm & Home Show.
All present enjoyed games and prizes followed by snacks provided by the members. The next meeting will be held February 4, 2013 at the school commons. Breilee Conkey will host with Alana Howard leading the project activities.
